Weekly Update Friday 10th October 2024

Summary of this week:

Dear Year 4 Parents and Carers,

This week has flown by! During the week, the children enjoyed expressing their creativity in our Art lessons and in our Harvest assembly. They worked so hard to practise their Harvest poem, and their performance blew us all away! Well done year 4!

Year 4 Teachers

Our learning next week:

Maths: In Maths, we will be continuing to add mentally.

English: In English, we will be writing our own instructions text.

Foundation:

In RE, , we will be developing our understanding of the New Covenant that God made with Jesus.

In PSHE, we will be setting our own goals.

In Art, we will be continuing to use our shading techniques to create a mixed media piece of art.

In History, we will be making our own Mayan mask.

Homework:

Please complete the Maths homework sheet that will be given out on a Monday. We also encourage the children to log into Times Table Rockstars and play some of the games to practise their times tables! Spellings are to be practised each week.

Maths: Homework is set on Monday’s and due Friday. Aim to spend 30 minutes on this.
