Weekly Update - Friday 14th November 2025

Afternoon all,
I hope you all have had lovely weeks. Just a very quick one from me this week regarding our upcoming Winchester Science Centre trip on Monday 17th November. Please see the ‘notices’ section below for important information/reminders in preparation for this exciting day!

Our learning next week:
Maths: We will be continuing with our new unit looking at multiplication and division.
English: We will be continuing our learning based around the book, ‘Flood’.
Foundation: We will be continuing to learn about the Alps in Geography. In Science, we will be continuing with our topic about space. In PE, the children will be learning key skills and components in Gymnastics and in Rugby. Meanwhile, in PSHE, the children will be learning about rumours and name-calling and identifying that these can be examples of bullying.
Homework:
As a reminder, homework days are as follows:
Maths Homework- Set on Monday, due on Wednesday.
English Homework- Set on Wednesday, due on Friday.
Spelling Homework- Set on Monday, due on Friday.
We would also please encourage children to be reading and accessing Times Table Rockstars when time allows.

Winchester Science Centre Information:
We are very excited for our upcoming trip to Winchester Science Centre, on Monday 17th November.
Please could all children arrive to school for 8.20am (they can come through the main junior office on arrival) with a packed lunch and wearing their normal school uniform. We will be departing the school at 8.50am, and we are aiming to arrive back at school between 3.20-3.30pm.
Upon arrival back to school, please collect your child from their usual collection point in the junior playground. Those who walk, can walk home as usual.
We will update you if we are scheduled to be later than expected.
