Weekly Update - Friday 28th November 2025
Summary of this week:
Afternoon all,
Just a short one from me today to express our excitement for our upcoming Christingle service at St Nicholas’ Church, Bookham on Tuesday 2nd December. Please note that our service is beginning at 1pm, and the children will return to school after the service has finished. We look forward to seeing you all then!

Our learning next week:
Maths: We will be continuing with our unit looking at multiplication and division.
English: We will be continuing with our learning about letters.
Foundation: We will be continuing to learn about the Alps in Geography. In Science, we will be continuing with our topic about space. In PE, the children will be learning key skills and components in Gymnastics and in Rugby. Meanwhile, in PSHE, the children will be learning about the different types of bullying that can occur in society.
Homework:
As a reminder, homework days are as follows:
Maths Homework- Set on Monday, due on Wednesday.
English Homework- Set on Wednesday, due on Friday.
Spelling Homework- Set on Monday, due on Friday.
We would also please encourage children to be reading and accessing Times Table Rockstars when time allows.
Notices & Reminders:
We look forward to our Christingle Service next Tuesday. A reminder that all children need to please bring in an orange by Monday 1st December, as we will be making our Christingles on Monday afternoon.
The children have been busily auditioning for parts in our upcoming performance of ‘Go for Gold’. Mrs Savage has auditioned all the children who want to be apart of our show, with all of those children having been given an acting role within our performance. Mrs Savage has sent out letters to those children about a drama club in preparation for this show.
